I’ve mentioned the Mars Hill (church pastored by Rob Bell) Podcasts a few times before, but I thought I’d make a special mention about for their current series, “God is Green”. As you can tell from the title, the series hits on the intimate connection that we as humans were designed to have with the Earth. It’s easy for us to see the Earth as a vital resource in our capitalist world, but it’s important to realize what God has to say in the Bible about our environment. As well as having an intimate connection with God there is a deep connection to His creation.

If you do download the talks, and I hope I’m not the only “nerd” that likes to listen to sermons during the week, Rob Bell provides a lot of useful info on how to cut down on the amount of waste we create and a good perspective on our attitudes toward the environment.
