I just finished finals on Tuesday and I don’t start working full time until next week, so I took the opportunity with the rest of this week open to clean my room.
Now I’m sure my room is like any other male’s room, clothes on the floor, desk filled with papers and clutter, and dust gathering on everything. I also have piles of books laying around. So many, in fact, that I’ve outgrown my bookshelves. So I decided to take all of the books I used to read when I was in elementary school off my bookshelf to make room for my newer books.
It was like reliving my childhood again, going through my Hardy Boys books, my Where’s Waldo books, and Huckleberry Finn. Those were some great books. Now they’ll be relegated to a cardboard box until my children are old enough to appreciate those books. Oh and I should mention that I still have my Boxcar Children collection — I always wanted to solve a mystery.
