Back in the days of 5950, we heard the worship band play such songs as “Stars”, “Thriller”, and “Vertigo”, and then in OverDrive, we’ve heard “It’s the End of the World As We Know It”. Well, here comes the next edition of “Special” (Big Church lingo for song that is being sung in Church but is not a “Church” song) music. This Sunday in OverDrive, and only in OverDrive, will you hear Scott Moore and the OD Band playing some “special” music.
What song is it? Well you’ll just have to be there to find out. I can tell you that it is not a song by REM, U2, Michael Jackson, or Switchfoot, so that narrows the field down for you to guess.
OverDrive has services at 10am and 11:30am, so be sure to be on time because the song will probably be at the beginning of the service. So be there and you will be blown away. Plus the preacher guy with the tight t-shirt that shows everything on a cold day will be on the screen again.
Let the hype begin.

Ooooooo, ooooooo! I know! Pick me! Pick me! I know!
Ha. I do know, but I’ll play along with keeping it a surprise. Scott has great taste in music. He’d never pick an icky special.
PS - I love that you put special in quotation marks. It makes it all the more “special”… haha.
PPS - Thanks Tyler for being Mr. Blog for the 18-20 somethings!
