If you heard Mike talk this morning, he mentioned that Parkcrest will now have an official podcast where you can download all of the sermons each week and listen to them on your iPod or on your computer or wherever you are during the week. And so I’ve put a link to it on the right, under the Websites of Interest heading (it’s called “Parkcrest Podcast”). You can visit that link, and it will take you to a page where you can download the sermon directly from there. There is also a link to subscribe to the podcast using iTunes. I use iTunes to subscribe to the podcast, and it’s a good tool to use because every time you open iTunes, it checks for anything new to download for your podcasts.
The other thing that I added are the links to the feeds for this blog. What you can do is subscribe to the blog using these links so that anytime there is a new post, your “blog reader” will automatically show the new posts. I use a program called Snarfer to subscribe to blogs — it’s a free program you can download here if you like. To subscribe to the blog, you enter the link to the feed (for example, one of our feeds is http://notyourmammaschurch.com/rss, so you’d enter this as the address for the feed). As far as the 3 different types go, they are just different standards (methods) that are used by programs to subscribe to blogs. So if you do download or use a blog reader, it should tell you which type of feed it takes. Most blog readers take more than type of feed. Snarfer can handle any one of the 3 feeds listed for the 18-20 Somethings blog.
Now go and have a fabulous time with the podcast and feeds.

No, the old 5950 podcast no longer works. For a while, Scott was updating that podcast with the Parkcrest messages, but when we changed over to the new website, Scott stopped doing this. So now, when you’re in iTunes, search for the Parkcrest podcast and that will get you all the new sermons.
