Have you heard of Joost? Maybe not, but Joost is a new way of watching tv on the internet, providing lots of full length shows and also offering instant messaging capabilities. It seems like a pretty cool program, and you can check out the website here. Joost is also brought to you by the makers of Skype, so if you’ve ever used Skype and like it, you might like Joost. The full version should come out soon, and it’s supposed to be free.
However, Joost is still in its Beta stage (like a rough draft of the program before the finished version comes out) and in order to try the Beta, you have to have an invite from people who are already using Joost. So if any of you out there are using Joost (maybe a long shot, but what the heck) I would much appreciate an invite being sent my way. You can email me at tjohnbrown@gmail.com. I guess I could wait until the full version comes out, but I don’t want to .
Anyway, check out Joost.
