I’m in the middle of this book called “The Blogging Church” (in the sidebar to the right) by Brian Bailey, and it’s been a good read that has really challenged me in the way that I handle this website. In reading the book today, I came across a section that talked about connecting to people through blogs, and a thought crossed my mind. I think it would a really cool thing to do, if you have a blog or you plan on getting a blog, for people in the 18-20 Somethings ministry to connect through blogging.
The ministry itself has a blog, and Mike has a blog, but I honestly had never thought about how other people may have blogs as well. So if you have a blog, and you don’t mind giving the link to your blog, then I think it would be a great to get to know each other through reading people’s blogs.
A blog would provide a great way for our ministry to create a sense of community. We don’t have a regular meeting and it can be hard for people to connect because of this. But in reading the book, I realized how we can use this website to foster and create relationships. So I thought I should put this opportunity out there so it’s known that this is something we can do.
Because that’s our goal, right? We want 18-20 Somethings to connect with one another. So if you would like to share your blog with the 18-20 Somethings community, then leave a comment with a link to your blog.

I don’t mind sharing. My blog is nowhere near as cool or intelligent as most peoples blogs, but it’ll allow people to get to know a little bit about me, thats for sure. I’m not very tech saavy when it comes to all these cool, high tech blogs… this one was the easiest to make, so I a blog here:

Sweet. I’m glad someone finally took me up on my idea.
I also plan on having a personal blog starting in the summer, and when I get it going I’ll be sure to post the link, but for now, you all can read me here. As if you didn’t know already.
