I don’t know how often you all check out the Parkcrest website, but during the next couple months always seems to be the busiest time for outreach events. The Christmas season always brings with it a lot of ways to get involved in the community and bring joy to people at a time that can be rough for a lot of families.
So if you go to the Parkcrest site you’ll see on the bottom of the page there is a whole list of things that you can get involved in. One of the items on that list is “Jackets for Jesus” — something our small group did last year. It was awesome to get a bunch of jackets and take it down to Skid Row to pass out to people, because it can get really really cold during the winter for the people living out on the street, so this is a small way to help keep people warm during the winter. And even if you can’t go help pass out jackets, donating your own jackets is an awesome thing, too.
There are many other things that you can do during this time of year — so get with it. Parkcrest has a wealth of opportunities to impact the community.

Taylor,
Your mom probably told you — but I emailed her that I would see if there are people that can go from the Goldsworthy small group and let you know who’s available.
