So I was watching Survivor last night (I’ve been watching way too much TV this week with all these season premieres), and one of the contestants on this season is a Christian Radio Host.
Naturally, she talks about her faith a lot, but one thing she said on the episode last night stuck with me.
She was talking about how hard it’s been camping out in the wet jungle of China, and she said that she missed being able to have her Bible with her. “I wish I had my Bible with me because I feel like I haven’t spent any quality time with the Lord.”
What do you think? Does she need her Bible to connect with God?

I saw that too and had the same question. I’d think, living in nature away from modern luxuries like TV, cars, building & the written word would make one feel more connected to God. Unless comfort & safe = godly. I don’t know. Did Jesus have a bible when He was roaming?
